Podcast Episode “How To Navigate Through Betrayal Trauma” Featuring Michelle Mays

Every month we bring your way ideas and information on resources, media, or tools to be inspirational, motivating, or helpful in your recovery journey.

This month I am recommending another excellent podcast called, “Sexual Addiction: Strength/Hope/Recovery,” by Carol the Coach. Not only is it a great place to get relevant information about recovery, this month our very own Michelle Mays will be a guest on the show.

The host, Carol Juergensen Sheets is a speaker, columnist, radio/TV host, and commentator based in Indianapolis. She is a psychotherapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and a life coach. She is also a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and it is from this frame that she focuses her podcast addressing sexual addiction, partner trauma, and recovery.

Carol has a comfortable style geared toward bringing “messages of wellness and empowerment to everyday people.” Her desire is to bring relevant information to listeners in a compassionate manner that honors the weighty issues being discussed.

Each week, the podcast “Sexual Addiction: Strength/Hope/Recovery,” streams interviews with experts on topics such as love addiction, gaslighting, shame, regaining trust after betrayal, and spirituality in recovery.  The hour-long show starts with 15-20 minutes of Carol offering commentary and lead up to the guest, with the remainder of the show dealing with the topic of the day.

This week, you can hear the interview with Michelle Mays LPC, CSAT-S, the Clinical Director of CRR, as she and Carol discuss How to Navigate Through Betrayal Trauma including the new project she is working on called PartnerHope. I hope you tune in and listen to the interview found on iTunes or by clicking here. Michelle never fails to enlighten, inform, and inspire.
